Privacy policy

Private by design, clear by choice.

This policy describes how mio handles information when you use the Android app with package name com.loveloop.app. Older console records may refer to the app as Usora or LoveLoop.

Effective and last updated: 31 August 2026

Who we are

mio is operated by Nexiva Services. For privacy questions or requests, email mail@nexivaservices.com.

Information mio handles

Account and profile

We process your email address, authentication identifier, display name, optional profile photo, connection code, partner link, anniversary date and preferences. If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides the basic account details needed to sign you in.

Content you choose to share

Messages, photos, drawings, captions, prompt responses, quiz activity, shared memories, moods, reactions and date plans are stored so they can be shown in the private two-person space you create with your partner.

Location

Location is accessed only after permission and only when you use a feature that needs it, such as sharing a single location snapshot or finding nearby date ideas. mio does not use this feature for continuous background tracking. Nearby-place searches may send an approximate coordinate and search terms to OpenStreetMap-based Photon or Overpass services.

Device and service information

We process device notification tokens, app settings, security preferences and limited technical request information needed to deliver notifications, prevent abuse and keep the service reliable. If paid features are enabled later, Google Play and RevenueCat may process purchase status and identifiers; mio does not receive your full payment-card details.

On-device Companion

The optional mio Companion model is downloaded to and runs on your device. Its generated conversations are not uploaded by mio. When you expressly opt into using recent relationship context for an activity, that context is passed locally to the on-device model.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information and do not use private couple content for advertising.

When information is shared

Your shared-space content is available to the partner you intentionally connect. We also use processors needed to run the service, including Google Firebase for authentication, database, media storage and notifications; Google Sign-In when selected; Supabase for limited backend relay/account operations where configured; RevenueCat and Google Play for purchase validation when billing is enabled; and OpenStreetMap-based Photon/Overpass services for nearby-place searches.

Providers process data under their own terms and security practices. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use authenticated access controls, transport encryption provided by our service providers and private storage rules intended to limit shared data to the connected couple. Optional App Lock uses your device authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and mio does not claim end-to-end encryption.

Retention and deletion

Active account and shared-space information is kept while needed to provide mio. You can disconnect a partner to permanently delete the shared couple space for both partners, or delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes the user record and authentication account; if you are connected, it also removes the shared couple data and media.

Limited security records, provider logs or disaster-recovery copies may remain for up to 30 days before automatic deletion, unless a longer period is required by law, fraud prevention or resolution of a dispute. These residual copies are not available through the app.

Full deletion instructions are available on the account deletion page.

Your choices

You can update profile information, control notifications and location permissions in the app or device settings, remove a shared location snapshot, disconnect your partner, or permanently delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, object to or restrict processing of your information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

mio is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on provider contractual protections and applicable legal transfer mechanisms.

Changes

We may update this policy as mio changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
